As a mother, you should get your child's neurological examination done. You must know that 20 to 40 percent of children may develop seizures/fits (with low IQ levels). So you must be prepared.
A system application of behavior therapy, a technique that can be taught to the parents helps manage the child in home and at school. You can get help from a child psychologist . Your pediatrician can direct you to a good psychologist.
Speech therapy should begin early. You child needs love, devotion and patience from both the parents not only from you. Your child needs support.
